BMW 7 embraces electric hybrid technology

The latest BMW eco technology is making its debut on the latest BMW 7 Series.

Anyone looking for a new hybrid luxury car may consider the new BMW I sub-brand. Using similar systems to those of the BMW X5 eDrive40e, BMW 225xe and the BMW 330e, the automaker has produced the new BMW 740e and 740Le xDrive.

The aim is to produce cars that offer strong acceleration, yet offer motorists reduced fuel consumption and emissions, with the combination of a combustion engine and electric drive generating 326 bhp.

BMW estimate the BMW 740e can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 5.4 seconds and the BMW 740Le xDrive completes the same task in 5.3 seconds.

Prices start at £68,330 and the vehicles are available to order now.
