Dacia revamps core models

Dacia has confirmed the updating of a number of its main models to appeal to more buyers.

The Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV have been modernised and more options added to increase salability.

Buyers will be able to opt for a new entry-level three-cylinder petrol engine, the 1.0 litre SCe75 is Euro6 compliant and offers increased fuel economy.

Dacia has enjoyed increasing sales since the brand’s relaunch over ten years ago. In August, the company set a new sales record of 391,000 units sold – 7.3 per cent higher than in the previous year.

It is expected the updated models will be on sale in the UK at the start of next year.
