Details of Mercedes E-Class Estate revealed

Mercedes has revealed details of its new E-Class Estate and is expected to launch the car by the end of the year.

The estate car will only be available at first in the E220d option, making use of a 193 bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine that will offer 67.3 mpg and emit CO2 emissions of 109/km.

Potential buyers may be tempted by the E-Class Estate as it offers a load
bay of some 670 litres – around 100 litres more than any other rival executive options.

Mercedes could also release the new E350d Estate by the end of 2016. This model offers a 255 bhp 3.0-litre V6 diesel with a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
