Man builds his own Lamborghini

Many people dream of owning their own supercar, but not many are tempted to build their own version using second-hand car parts.

However, Driton Selmani from the town of Gjilan in Eastern Kosovo, has done just that because he was unable to afford his own Lamborghini any other way.

The resulting car, which has taken him over a year to finish, was put together using parts from a Mitsubishi Eclipse and Mitsubishi Galant and has a 3.0-litre V6 engine.

Mr Selmani has even painted the replica Lamborghini Reventon with the national flag of Albania.

It is estimated the project saved Mr Selmani £1.3 million as it only cost him around £268,000 to make roadworthy, compared to the £1.6 million price-tag on the real thing.
