Renault launches updated SUV

Renault has revealed its latest SUV model at the Beijing Auto Show.

The latest version of the Koleos aims to combine the traditional saloon car with the lines and features of a SUV.

Renault has designed the SUV to have a ground clearance of 213mm, four-wheel drive, as well as a spacious cabin space with 289mm of rear knee room.

It is expected that it will complete Renault’s high-end model range consisting of the Espace, Talisman and Talisman Estate.

Buyers will able to choose from two petrol and two diesels engines offering from 128 to 172bhp, with the option of either a six-speed manual gearbox or X-Tronic CVT transmission.

The new Koleos will go on sale before the end of the year in Australia, Turkey and Gulf States, followed by China. It is expected it will be available in Russia and Europe by the start of next year.
