The new Renault Zoe has been upgraded to provide a greater mileage range.
Revealed at the Paris Motor Show, the 2107 version of the electric car has almost doubled its range on one charge to 248 miles.
Renault has increased the battery capacity and means the Zoe is capable of travelling 93 miles more than the popular Nissan Leaf.
A total of three versions of the Zoe are being revealed with the base level option capable of producing 76 bhp, while the top of the range model will have 89 bhp.
Details of exact release dates in the UK have yet to be revealed, but it is expected prices will start from £13,445.
