New Fabia set to be revealed at Geneva

Skoda has confirmed it will reveal its updated Fabia at March’s Geneva Motor Show.

The current Fabia has been on the market since 2014 and has proved to be a popular model for the automaker, with more than four million units sold worldwide.

Skoda has released a sneak peak of the new generation Fabia and it appears it will feature LED headlights but the other details are less clear.

There are also no details of engine options, but the current Fabia line-up includes a 1.0-litre petrol, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel unit.

In addition, there are rumours that a vRS model could be an option, although Skoda have not confirmed or denied this.

Prices for the next generation of the Fabia are expected to be close to the existing prices, which start at £10,495.
