New Sharan now available

The latest Volkswagen Sharan is now available to order for delivery in October.

Orginally launched in 1995, the popular seven-seat people carrier has been revamped for the first time since 2010.

The latest version will retain the EasyFold seating concept, as well as the side sliding doors that have proved a hit with buyers. However, it has also gained a number of new features, including the Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, Bluetooth phone connection and three-zone Climatronic air conditioning – standard on all of the models.

Buyers will be able to choose from a range of new interior upholsteries and steering wheels, and benefit from second generation colour touchscreen MIB infotainment systems in the S, SE and SEL models.

There are four different engines available – one petrol and three diesel options – offering power from 115 to 184 PS.

Volkswagen has also improved on CO2 emissions, with all of the engines offering more efficiency in line with EU6 compliance.

Prices will start from £26,300 for the base model and rise to £32,280 for the 2.0 litre TDI 184 PS with a 6-speed DSG gearbox.
