The most fuel efficient diesel and petrol cars in the UK right now

A trip to the pumps in 2018 isn’t very fun.

Fuel prices have skyrocketed in recent times, with figures from the RAC showing that petrol and diesel prices have climbed at their fastest rate since the turn of the millennium.

Consequently, pump prices have been left at their highest point for almost four years.

Fuel is a necessity for every petrol and diesel car and there isn’t much motorists can do except pay whatever the number is displayed on the pump.

Luckily, internal combustion engines are more efficient than ever and the mpgs reported by today’s petrol and diesel cars have never been higher.

That begs the question: which cars have the highest combined mpg right now? Read on and we’ll tell you…
