Vauxhall launches Vivaro Life – perfect for larger families

The Vauxhall Vivaro Life could step up to cater for larger families.

Nippy little hatchbacks are great if you're part of a smaller family, but some people simply need more room for a much larger brood.

Vauxhall is there to help anyone looking for new car deals on larger vehicles though, as it is launching its brand new Vivaro Life model to be shipped to showrooms nationwide next month.

Designed to be a practical yet stylish people carrier, the vehicle has been described as "opulent, well-appointed, and focused on comfort and enjoyment".

The Vivaro Life will be available in two trims: the Elite, which is more for family and everyday use; and the Edition, which is aimed more at businesses such as hotel shuttle firms.

On the Elite, you can expect to find ergonomic, heated front seats (with massage facility for when the kids are driving you mad) and a panoramic roof to let maximum light into the cabin.

There's also keyless open and start as standard, xenon headlights, a 180-degree rear parking camera and an array of safety features, including lane departure warning, driver drowsiness alert, speed sign recognition, blind spot detection, front collision alert and emergency braking.

In terms of seating, a five-seater configuration is the default setting, but it's possible to alter the third row to make it into an eight-seater. There's also another option for two individual seats in the second row for a seven-seater layout.

These even swivel so the passengers in the back can have a family confab, complete with pop-up table.

Meanwhile, the Vivaro Life Edition can carry up to nine people and has optimal luggage space.

Both vehicles feature powerful yet frugal engines and smooth transitions, which equate to low running costs, reduced emissions and maximum efficiency.

The Vivaro Life Elite will be available in showrooms in July and is set to cost from £41,255 on the road.

The launches are part of Vauhall's PACE! strategic plan, which will see the brand aim to bring eight new or refreshed models to market by the end of 2020. This will give it one of the youngest product portfolios of all volume manufacturers.
