Drivers looking for Nissan deals<\/a> may wish to check out the new European Car of the Year, the Nissan Leaf.<\/p>\n

A recent study by independent experts CAP has predicted that the Nissan Leaf will retain 47 per cent of its on-the-road price after three years of ownership and 30,000 miles.<\/p>\n

Motorists looking for Nissan deals will be interested to hear that the study has lowered the cost of ownership even further, with low depreciation adding to the savings made by using cheaper, cleaner electricity as a fuel.<\/p>\n

According to official figures from Nissan, charging the Leaf will cost just £2 and will provide a range of around 100 miles, which makes owning a Nissan Leaf a money saving option.<\/p>\n

Paul Willcox, managing director of Nissan Motor GB, said: "Buyers can be confident that the LEAF will not lose value any faster than a conventional rival, thanks to the verdict of independent industry experts."<\/p>\n

The Nissan Leaf recently received the sought-after Green Car of the Year award even though it is not due to hit the roads until March 2011.<\/p>\n
