Those looking for the latest Citroen deals<\/a> will be no doubt delighted to hear that the new C1 has been revealed by the manufacturer, with the promise of new stylings, enhanced features and a more frugal engine.<\/p>\n

New stylings on the C1 sees a new front end complete with a shorter bonnet as well as new fog lights and LED daytime running lights, which are a very rare feature in the segment.<\/p>\n

The Citroen vertical design LED light signature has added to the character of the new model, while the rear has retained its innovative glass tailgate and features the brand's new chevrons and badging.<\/p>\n

As well as the additions to the exterior of the car, a number of changes have been made under the bonnet, with the aim of boosting fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n

Powered by a three-cylinder petrol engine developing 68 bhp, the new C1 boasts an improved fuel economy of up 65.7 miles per gallon over a combined cycle as well as limiting CO2 emissions to just 99 g\/km.<\/p>\n

The new C1<\/a> is also available with an Electronic Gearbox System complete with steering-mounted paddle controls for enhanced handling and driving pleasure.<\/p>\n

Citroen has added a special edition colour to its palette for the new C1, which is already an option on the DS3 and the C3. Boticelli blue offers a fresh alternative to the range of colours, which includes scarlet red, electra blue, lipizzan white, caldera black and two grey tones.<\/p>\n

The French manufacturer debuted the new C1 model at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2011 and the model will be made available in the UK this year.<\/p>\n

Citroen's entry-level city car has attracted over 620,000 customers worldwide, with more than 80,000 sold in the UK since its launch in 2005.<\/p>\n
