The next 12 months look to be very exciting in the world of motoring, with a number of well-known manufacturers all planning to unveil brand new models which are sure to get drivers rushing for the latest deals.<\/p>\n

Just two months into the new year, the models preparing to roll off the production line and onto the road are lining up thick and fast and with such a huge choice of cars hitting the UK market, it is difficult to pick which is best for you.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the most impressive models hitting the market in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Ford Focus ST<\/p>\n

Already one of the most popular cars of this generation, the Focus<\/a> is set to receive yet another facelift in the next 12 months, with the addition of the ST to Ford's ever-growing Focus stable.<\/p>\n

Set to hit the road towards the end of the year, the 2013 Ford Focus ST has all the attractive features that get the motoring public and experts' tongues wagging.<\/p>\n

It will offer drivers and those looking for Ford deals<\/a> a huge amount of power under the bonnet as well as a number of changes to its signature look.<\/p>\n

The car has been improved inside and out with the addition of a muscular, high-performance exhaust system which lets out a powerful growl, on top of 18-inch alloy wheels highlighted by a dazzling Y-spoke design.<\/p>\n

Volkswagen Beetle R<\/p>\n

Volkswagen<\/a> is set to give its latest deals an exciting new look, with the introduction of the Beetle R, which has been described as the performance version of the standard beetle, which the manufacturer says will compete in the power stakes with the Scirocco R and the Golf R.<\/p>\n

Engineers at VW have certainly been busy with this model as it features a raft of alterations and additions when compared with its predecessor.<\/p>\n

The front and rear bumpers have been widened by 30 mm, and the wheelarches stretched over 20-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels. There's also a front splitter and air intakes in the bonnet to feed the engine with extra oxygen, providing a boost in power.<\/p>\n

Inside the cabin, VW has also been busy, with the introduction of bucket seats, extra instruments and plenty of chrome highlights, which gives the vehicle the sporty look that appeals to so many.<\/p>\n

Citroen DS5<\/p>\n

The DS range produced by Citroen<\/a> has proved hugely popular with motorists and critics alike since it was introduced by the French manufacturer, but this year will see it go one step further, with the addition of the largest model in the DS stable, the DS5.<\/p>\n

Even though it is the largest motor in the range, it has been based on the eco-friendly C5 and features a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain.<\/p>\n

The hybrid 4 system that will power the DS5 was developed with the help of Peugeot and helps to combine front-wheel drive diesel power with rear-axle electric drive, which of course means the driver has the choice of all-wheel drive, or single diesel or electric power, making it one of the most versatile Citroen models on the market.<\/p>\n

Citroen's improvements all add up to impressive CO2 emissions figures of just 99 g\/km, a very impressive stat for such a large car, and one that guarantees the DS5 sits in tax band A and qualifies for free car tax.<\/p>\n

Ford Fiesta ST<\/p>\n

Ford's second mention in the list of cars to watch in 2012 comes in the shape of the Fiesta ST, which is rumoured to be even more fun to drive than the standard model.<\/p>\n

It will be introduced later this year and motoring experts believe it will provide huge value to those looking for Ford deals. It features a bold, honeycomb grille that will echo the Focus ST, with a dramatic rear diffuser revealing a twin-exit exhaust, to add a little extra to the standard Fiesta.<\/p>\n
