This second generation model works on the success of its predecessor but includes new five-door hatchback body styles, improved fuel consumption and a new Kia-developed dual-clutch transmission.<\/p>\n
Under the bonnet, the range boasts new 135 ps GDI petrol and 128 ps CRDi diesel engines.<\/p>\n
"Just as the original cee'd represented a major step forward for Kia in 2007, this second-generation model represents a further leap for the brand – both in terms of the capability and sophistication of the vehicle," said Paul Philpott, Chief Operating Officer, Kia Motors Europe.<\/p>\n
Kia is having a great year so far, as well as the new launch, the Sportage has won the best 4×4 title at the CarBuyer Car of the Year Awards.<\/p>\n
