Citroen is successfully improving its market share in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, it has been suggested.<\/p>\n

Scott Michael, head of commercial vehicles and business centre programme at the manufacturer, noted the carmaker is steadily becoming more and more popular among this group, which he described as the "backbone of the UK economy".<\/p>\n

SMEs hoping to improve their fleets of vehicles may therefore look at the latest Citroen deals<\/a> as they try to identify models suited for businesses of this size.<\/p>\n

Mr Michael was speaking in response to news that Citroen Contract Motoring (CCM) is introducing
a special offer in January 2013, which can see firms signing
a two-year, 20,000 mile contract hire agreement for a Citroen Berlingo Enterprise van, including metallic paint, for £149.48 a month, plus VAT.<\/p>\n

It is hoped the timing of the offer will help to lift some of the post-Christmas gloom many people are likely to experience as the festive period draws to a close.<\/p>\n

Mr Michael noted the fixed cost aspect of the deal should appeal to SMEs, adding: "This special CCM contract hire deal provides business customers with a very affordable opportunity to upgrade to a well-equipped, fuel efficient and low emission Berlingo Enterprise van."<\/p>\n

The contract hire deal also includes a low-cost maintenance option, which is available from an extra £6.77 a month, plus VAT.<\/p>\n

This agreement is available on Berlingo HDi 75 manual L1 625 Enterprise vans registered by January 31st 2013 – models that boast standard equipment such as air conditioning and rear parking sensors.<\/p>\n

In addition, the vans also use a connecting box – which includes a Bluetooth system and UBS socket – as well as a Trafficmaster Smartnav\/Trackstar setup.<\/p>\n

This acts as both a dynamic satellite navigation system and as a means to track stolen vehicles.<\/p>\n

The Berlingo also features remote central locking, a nearside sliding side load door and Citroen's multi-function Extenso fold-flat passenger seat, which seats two passengers or enables up to three-metre long loads to be carried.<\/p>\n
