As standard, the car has infotainment touchscreen with DAB radio, heated and cooled front seats, plus active noise cancellation, privacy glass and 19-inch alloy wheels.<\/p>\n<p>For buyers wanting to spend a little more, then the Sport trim level costs from &pound;34,495 and options include a six-speed automatic gearbox, as well as a twin-turbo 2.0-litre diesel offering 208 bhp.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Barratt, chairman and managing director, Ford of Britain, said: &ldquo;Joining performance products such as the Mustang and Focus RS and new luxury products like Mondeo Vignale already in showrooms, the Edge makes the Ford product line-up for 2016 never stronger.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It will deliver more room for passengers than large competitor SUVs that cost considerably more.
