Suzuki’s new Baleno hatchback will go on sale in the UK from the start of June.<\/p>\n
Slightly larger than Suzuki’s popular Swift model, the hatchback is aimed at those looking for more boot capacity, but do not want the size offered by the company’s larger models – the Vitara or S-Cross.<\/p>\n
Buyers will find a number of features fitted as standard on the base model, including six airbags, sat-nav, air conditioning and DAB radio. Upgrade options are also on offer, with the choice to add 16-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights and rear privacy class.<\/p>\n
The 1.0-litre car will make use of Suzuki’s Boosterjet technology and will offer fuel consumption of 64.2 mpg. It will also be capable of zero to 62 mph in 11.4 seconds with the manual transmission option and 11 seconds for the optional automatic model.<\/p>\n
Prices start at £12,999 for the 1.0-litre Boosterjet and £13,499 for the 1.2-litre Smart Hybrid model.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
