Vauxhall's Insignia range is to benefit from the addition of the all-wheel drive Insignia Country Tourer.<\/p>\n
The automaker believes the new model will provide drivers with the option of a friendly, yet tougher, off-road version of the Insignia.<\/p>\n
Rear skid plates and black protective cladding have been added, while ground clearance of the vehicle has been raised to cope with off-road terrain. Drivers will also notice the benefits of electronically controlled multi-plate clutches on the rear axle to provide power to the back wheels, as well as the option to switch between different driving modes.<\/p>\n
There have also been some changes made to the boot capacity, with the provision of an extra 135 litres of space, as well as the fitting of an automatic opening tailgate and keyless entry.<\/p>\n
It is expected the new model will come with a number of engine options, including a new high-performance diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic gearbox choice.<\/p>\n
Full details of the Insignia Country Tourer will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will the car will go on sale in the UK before the end of 2017.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
