Nissan has confirmed the last 12 months has seen a strong rise in sales for the automaker across Europe.<\/p>\n
The share of the European market for the company is now at 3.9 per cent following positive levels of sales in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.<\/p>\n
Sales were also boasted by the introduction of the new Micra in March 2016 as well as the ongoing sales of the X-Trail, Juke and Quashqai continue to perform well in the crossover sector.<\/p>\n
Overall, sales of Nissan brand in Europe reached 735,725, while sales in Western Europe were 663,718 – an increase of 6.7 per cent on the previous 12 months.<\/p>\n
There was also strong support for Nissan’s electric vehicle offerings with more than 23,000 units sold in Europe over the past year.<\/p>\n
