Citroen is adding a new model to its hugely popular Berlingo passenger car range, thanks to customer demand.<\/p>\n
Since its launch last year, more than 60 per cent of Berlingo orders have been for the range-topping Flair level trim and options including the innovative Modutop Roof, the brand said.<\/p>\n
As such, an exclusive new trim level dubbed the Flair XTR is to join the family, topping the range and showcasing the wide range of Citroen technology available.<\/p>\n
The Flair XTR will remain as user-friendly and family-oriented as its predecessor, coming in a five-seat M size and a seven-seat XL variety.<\/p>\n
Designed to be a robust and modern leisure activity vehicle, it offers class-leading space, plenty of practicality and some excellent design features.<\/p>\n
The car boasts up to 28 interior storage spaces and a boot capacity of 775 litres for the M and 1,050 litres for the XL.<\/p>\n
As standard, the Flair XTR will come with a panoramic glass roof called the Modutop to flood the cabin with light; an opening rear tailgate window; and Magic Flat Function, meaning three individual seats with independent controls that can fold flat for easy loading.<\/p>\n
On the Flair XTR, drivers will also enjoy 17-inch 'Spin' alloy wheels, orange fog light surrounds, dark tinted rear side and tailgate windows, keyless entry and start and an information system built in to a transparent panel on top of the dashboard.<\/p>\n
You'll find the new model comes in a host of colours (from Polar White to Aqua Green), meaning there's sure to be something to suit every personality.<\/p>\n
Production starts in July 2019 and prices start from £23,630 for the M and £25,330 for the XL.<\/p>\n
Citroen will no doubt be hoping this addition to the range satisfies those who want that little bit extra on their vehicles, something the brand is renowned for providing. It must be clued in to its customers though, as it sold 1.05 million cars in more than 80 countries last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
