But when it is the right time to start looking for a new car, and what about getting it on a lease? Because, let\u2019s face it, getting a new car with cash isn\u2019t really an option in the lead up to and immediate aftermath of Christmas. So, let\u2019s take a look, shall we?<\/p>\n

The most important aspect is whether or not you can actually afford it. By that, we don\u2019t necessarily mean that you need to have the full price of the new car on hand. Rather, your monthly budget would need to have enough room to comfortably add in the monthly cost of a finance option as a bare minimum.<\/p>\n
That way, you will actually be able to afford a new car one way or another, without it having a negative impact on other aspects of your life.<\/p>\n
The next thing to keep in mind is that new cars take time to prepare and be delivered to you. This can range from a few weeks to a couple of months normally, but can be longer during the current health crisis. So if you want to get a new car at the start of the new year, you need to get in a position to order it as soon as possible, realistically.<\/p>\n
If you can afford it, and you want your new car either in or as close to January as possible, then you should probably start getting a deal sorted before the end of November.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, if you just want to get a brand new car at some point in 2021, then it doesn\u2019t really matter when you order it.<\/p>\n
So that just leaves one more question; how can you get a car lease deal? The easiest way is to look around at a variety of different deals on offer and then apply. From there, a credit check will be carried out to make sure that you can afford it, and as long as you pass that, you\u2019re good to go!<\/p>\n
