What Is the Plug-In Van Grant?<\/h2>\n\n\n

Much like the electric car grant from a few years back, the plug-in van grant is a government scheme designed to encourage commercial van drivers to purchase an electric van. This is done by offering a major reduction in the final price paid by the government. By 2030, all sales of petrol and diesel vans and cars will end, so buying a gas-guzzling commercial hauler is no longer the long-term solution, but with the grant, the government are easing up the upfront cost of going electric early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you apply for the grant, you may ask? The great thing is that you don\u2019t have to! They apply to all eligible vans from registered dealers and are automatically discounted without any paperwork needed.<\/p>\n\n\n

Which Vans Are Eligible For the Plug-In Van Grant?<\/h2>\n\n\n

In the UK, there\u2019s already a healthy supply of choices for your next electric van.
