Motorists looking for new Ford deals will now have the option of joining the manufacturer's new accident management programme.
The new programme aims to help simplify communications between insurance companies and the Ford repair network.
Ford's new service will be free to join for all new and used Ford vehicle drivers in the UK, regardless of which insurance company they are with.
Drivers who join the scheme will have repairs carried out at their nearest Ford Accident Repair Centre using genuine Ford parts fitted by the manufacturer's trained technicians following Ford repair methods.
Speaking about the new programme, Paul McDermott, Ford collision repair manager, said: "It takes over many complex parts of the repair process such as contacting the insurance company, organising vehicle recovery and providing a courtesy car, with a single phone call."
The launch of the accident management programme follows recent recommendations of the House of Commons Transport Committee, which called for a transparent and efficient programme to drive down costs.
