Motorists have been given a further reason to take up Ford deals in August after the car maker boosted its Nectar points offering for the month.
MOTs, servicing and non-warranty repairs at participating Ford dealers will all be rewarded with double points during August.
Four points will be awarded for every £1 spent between August 1st and 31st and all Ford vehicles serviced during the month will also receive up to 12 months' roadside assistance.
Ford's first Nectar double points month, in February, saw more than 42 million points issued to customers – enough for almost 5,000 family tickets to top tourist attractions.
Andy Barratt, Ford's UK customer service director, said: "Summer vacations are a popular time for driving, so now is the perfect time for our customers to earn extra points while they get a holiday check-up for their car."
During 2010, Ford gave away over 180 million Nectar points to customers, which were exchanged for a wide variety of goods and services, from groceries to holidays.
