New Ford Focus ST pricing revealed

Consumers looking to get Ford deals on the new 250PS Focus ST are looking at prices from £21,995 on the road when it goes on sale Friday, June 1st.

Buyers can purchase the hotly anticipated performance hatchback or estate in June for delivery in September.

The Focus ST features an advanced, direct-injection 2.0-litre, all-alloy, turbo-charged, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that can produce 250PS. Yet it still gives an economical return of 39.2mph and CO2 emissions of 169g/km, which is a 20 per cent improvement on its precursor.

Other features include a one of a kind suspension, non-linear variable-ratio steering and finely-tuned performance brakes.

A number of tried-and-tested aspects of the original Ford Focus ST Concept have been brought into full production, with a prominent central exhaust, a trapezoidal front grille and the trademark Tangerine scream paint option.

It is available in hatchback and estate bodies, meaning individuals with different needs can still invest in the new vehicle from Ford. Both feature excellent levels of comfort, safety and convenience as standard, without compromising the performance or skill.

If a sport aesthetic is what consumers are looking for, then there are rado-grey alloy wheels, red brake callipers and illuminated scuff plates to kit out the cars.

Other standard features include the Ford Power keyless start, Recaro seats, DAB radio, Bluetooth and 18-inch alloy wheels.

For those that want to spend a little more on the ST3 model, there are heated leather seats, Bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and keyless entry.

"Ever since the arrival of the legendary GT40, Britain has become the spiritual home for performance Fords – and demand from UK enthusiast customers has always been strong," said Mark Ovenden, Ford Britain managing director.

"This latest Focus ST is a global car that will excite customers around the world – but especially those in Britain."
