Revised Kia Sorento unveiled

A revised version of the Sorento has been revealed by Kia.

The SUV has been given a comprehensive makeover, including a top-to-bottom and front-to-rear re-engineering of the vehicle.

It is hoped the developments will result in a safer, more comfortable and luxurious motor with improved driving dynamics, while emissions, running costs and fuel consumption should all be lowered.

The new Sorento boasts extra structures at the front, side and rear, which act to disperse energy impact, while 25 per cent ultra high strength steels have been used in the body construction.

Those looking for the latest Kia deals may therefore be interested in the safety features offered by the vehicles, which also has increased torsional stiffness.

Kia noted: "This should ensure New Sorento maintains the five-star Euro-NCAP safety rating awarded to the previous model, despite increasingly tougher test conditions."

Driver dynamics have also been boosted thanks to alterations made to the car's suspension, steering and brakes.
