Fiat Professional's Euro 5 Ducato has been selected as the delivery vehicle of choice by Brandon Hire.
The specialist tools and equipment supplier has taken delivery of six new KFS Plant and Go motors to carry goods to sites around the UK.
KFS Special Vehicles has built the models to specifications outlined by Brandon Hire, with the designs – based on the Fiat Ducato 33 B2B chassis 2.3 MultiJet II 130hp version – drawn up to help drivers transport machinery such as mini-diggers without the need to tow a trailer.
Steve Pensom, fleet and logistics manager at the tools firm, said: "What really impressed us, when the vehicle was on test, was the fact that anyone with a car licence could drive the truck."
Mr Pensom observed this benefit – in addition to boosting miles per gallon performance – will allow larger payloads to be transported safely, which should result in costs being minimised and staff levels maximised.
