Citroen offers details on the latest C1 deals

Citroen has released details of its latest new car deals, with the C1 going on sale in the UK from July.

The all-new C1 city car will be offered to eager car buyers in three well-specified trim levels – Touch, Feel and Flair – while the latter two will be available in Airscape versions as well. Motorists can also choose between three and five-door variants.

Pricing starts at just £8,245 for the C1 Touch VTi 68 manual three-door, while the top spec C1 Airscape Flair VTi 68 ETG five-door costs just £11,935.

The exterior is finished in one of eight body colours, including four metallic options. More customising is permitted by the choice of three wheel designs, while inside there are four interior upholstery finishes.

Under the bonnet, Citroen has made two of its latest-generation petrol engines available to the C1. A VTi 68 is coupled with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed clutchless Efficient Tronic Gearbox, while the e-VTi 68 Airdream five-speed manual combo has Stop & Start technology.

Furthermore, there is the option of Citroen's latest three-cylinder PureTech VTi 82 powerplant.

That is not where the engineering innovation ends, however. Even in the lead-in new Citroen C1 Touch standard, the driver gets the benefit of ABS, ESP, EBA, power steering, high-frequency remote central locking, six airbags, electric front windows, an MP3 compatible audio system, a USB socket and LED daytime running lights – quite a list.

The Feel spec adds air conditioning, a DAB digital radio, a seven-inch Touch Drive interface with Mirror Screen technology and steering mounted controls, while the Flair brings 15-inch Planet alloy wheels, a reversing camera, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, a leather steering wheel and dark tinted rear windows to the party.

Further optional extras include automatic headlights, keyless entry and ignition and various interior colour packs.
