Skoda’s most popular model has been given a high-tech update.
The Octavia 2017 range will include a new three-cylinder turbo petrol option offering 115 PS.
Replacing the 1.2 litre option, the new 1.0 TSI will provide 200 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. Alongside the seven-speed DSG, the new 1.0 TSI will offer 0 to 62 mph in 9.9 seconds and a top speed of 126mph.
Skoda is also planning to introduce more in-car high-tech with the use of inductive smartphone charging and in car controls.
Buyers will also have an array of additional options, including Climatronic an allergen filter, the rear-view camera is kept clean using washer jets, as well as optional umbrella under the front passenger seat.
