Tesla confirms UK pricing

Tesla has confirmed the cost of the company’s new Model X SUV, as well as specifications of the much-anticipated model.

The entry-level 75D will retail from £71,900 when it is launched before the end of 2016.

Buyers will have to pay £82,400 for the 90D, while the top-of-the-range P90D will cost from £99,800.

The Model X will be a five-seater, but can be upgraded to a six-seater or a seven-seater for an additional cost.

There will also be a number of add-on packages for buyers, including the Premium Upgrade that will cost £3,900 but will upgrade the base model with leather upholstery, air filter and interior LED lights.

It is expected the new Tesla model will be delivered to UK buyers before the end of the year.
