New GT-Line Rio for Kia

Kia will debut the latest Rio hatchback at the Geneva Motor Show.

Set to appeal to those looking for a sportier feel, the Rio GT-Line will feature 17-inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust tips, back roof spoiler and unique “ice-cube” LED fog lamps.

The interior of the car has also had a makeover, with the introduction of black and grey upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Designers have also added a carbon fibre-effect to the model’s dashboard, as well as aluminium pedals as standard.

In terms of power, the Rio GT-Line will feature a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 118 bhp. It is expected the fuel economy will be around 60.1 mpg with 107 g/km of carbon emissions.

Exact pricing of the new Kia has not been revealed, but potential owners can expect further details in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
