New Vauxhall Astra takes centre stage at Paris show

People interested in Vauxhall Astra deals may be interested to hear that a new version of the popular model is set to be launched at a major event in Paris next month.

The Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer, the manufacturer’s new load carrier, is to be showcased at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris, which will take place between October 2nd and 17th.

According to the company, the model is the second to join the new Astra range and features a body designed by Britain’s Mark Adams. It is already assembled solely at Vauxhall‘s Ellesmere Port complex in Cheshire.

It is set to be available in showrooms across the UK by the end of October.

Vauxhall recently revealed that the Astra Sports Tourer, which will initially launch with the 1.4 ES model, is set to enter the UK market priced at £16,575.

The price is around £500 less than the current entry-level Astra Estate.
