Ford's top people carrier amongst chauffeurs and professional drivers, the Galaxy, will try to prove its efficiency in a MPG marathon.
Those looking for new Ford deals will be interested to know that the Galaxy was declared best MPV on the market by Professional Driver magazine, which represents Britain's private hire and chauffer companies.
Professional driver magazine editor, Mark Bursa, said: "A raft of upgrades and improvements this year have made the Galaxy more up-market and it drives superbly thanks to an excellent automatic transmission. Galaxy’s all-round competence keeps it ahead of the field."
This week the Galaxy will enter the annual MPG marathon event running from Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Ford Galaxy accounts for 60 per cent of large MPVs sold in the UK, outselling its nearest competitor by six to one, dominating the substantial MPV market in the UK.
Earlier this year the Ford Galaxy was declared the best MPV by Businesscar magazine for the fourth year running.
