Kia to unveil products masterclass

A Products Master Class is being held by Kia to introduce dealer networks to the latest innovations.

While hundreds of thousands of music lovers are heading to Glastonbury Festival over the next few days, those involved in Kia's dealer network will be just as excited to be attending a special event organised by the carmaker next week.

It is hosting its exciting Products Master Class 2013 at Rockingham – and the four-day extravaganza, which gets underway on July 2nd, has been inspired by the festival vibe, complete with a camping zone, a DJ set and food courts.

Rockingham's inner paddock areas are being divided into 11 distinct zones in order to best show off all of the new and different technologies Kia has developed for use in its cars.

The event has been designed as a fun way for members of the company's dealer network to really get to grips with the latest products, while it is also hoped that the activities on offer and product training methods will ignite their passion for the brand.

What's more, the mini festival will also see the UK premier of Kia's first true hot hatch – the pro_cee'd GT. This car, which delegates will be able to put to the test at the event, is sure to be a favourite among those looking to check out the latest Kia cee'd deals over the coming months.

Peter Hardman, chief executive of Rockingham, said: "The Kia Products Master Class 2013 is the first event of its kind and we're proud to be hosting something this dynamic.

"It's exactly the kind of innovative and exciting event that we enjoy hosting and the Kia team are making the most of our facilities to stage something really special."

A total of 8,000 delegates – not quite the 150,000 expected at Glastonbury, but a big number nonetheless – will be taking in the sights and sounds of the event.

They will get the opportunity to visit all the different technology zones, which will focus on subjects such as in-car entertainment systems and safety, while having hands-on lessons with the newest product developments.
