Aero style Leaf to be unveiled by Nissan

Nissan is to reveal the Aero style version of its Leaf vehicle at the Tokyo Auto Salon next month.

The upgraded version benefits from an aero body kit, which includes a new front bumper, side skirts and mirrors.

"Equipped with an aero body kit that accentuates Nissan Leaf's distinctive silhouette and character lines, this concept car expresses an image of futuristic sport EV driving," Nissan explained.

As well as the Aero style version, Nissan will show off nine other kitted-out vehicles at the show.

The company will also show its Juke Sporty Package that features a range of exterior accessories designed for the European and North American versions. It also boasts chrome parts and 17-inch alloys.

This month, Nissan delivered its first Leaf model in Japan to the Kanagawa Preferctural Government.

A ceremony was held to celebrate the handover of the first Nissan Leaf in Japan. The keys to the electric car were handed over by Toshiyuki Shiga, chief operating officer at Nissan.
