Chevrolet has confirmed it will sell both its four and eight-cylinder versions of the latest Camaro model.
The car will only be available in left-hand drive and prices are expected to start from £32,500.
Buyers will be able to choose from a 2.0-litre turbo or V8 in both the coupe or convertible option. The total number available to UK customers is expected to be limited, with deliveries starting from October onwards.
It is the sixth-generation of the Camaro and Chevrolet claim the car has undergone significant development to produce a more aerodynamically efficient vehicle.
Body weight has also been lowered with the use of aluminum – reducing the overall weight by 90kg. The latest model also measures 57mm shorter and 20mm narrower.
The 275 bhp 2.0-litre engine is capable of ensuring the Camaro can travel from 0-62mph in less than six seconds.
