Motorists looking for Citroen deals will be interested to hear that the Citroen DS3 has been crowned the Car of the Year by Top Gear magazine.
The DS3 saw off competition from supercar and mainstream manufacturers including Jaguar, Bentley, Honda, Peugeot, Bugati, Pagani and Koenigsegg to take the top spot.
Top Gear praised the car's mix of ability, excitement and affordability, adding that it was very difficult to find a chink in the vehicle's armour.
Linda Jackson, Citroen UK's managing director, said: "Considering the fierce competition, it is a fantastic achievement for DS3 to win the top accolade.
"DS3 has enjoyed a fantastic first year, winning the hearts and minds of both public and press. In just under 12 months on the road it's become the 'must-have' model in its class."
Top Gear magazine clearly agrees as it also crowned the DS3 the best Small Car of the Year and hailed it as the "people's champion".
Citroen recently unveiled its brand new C4 models which have been specifically designed to meet the needs of mid-size five-door hatchback retail customers and business users.
