Citroen unveils DS3 racing model details

Leading car manufacturer Citroen has released details of and images of its brand new DS3 racing model after orders have begun to be placed.

Those interested in Citroen deals might want to take a look at the all new car, complete with tuned engine, suspension, brakes and an eye catching new look.

The car has been developed by Citroen Racing, the team behind Sebastien Loeb's six WRC Driver's titles, and promises to deliver "sporting characteristics and specific equipment from the world of motorsport".

Extras on the DS3 racing model include carbon fibre front bumper, side rubbing strips and wheel arch extensions.
Power on the 1.6 litre racing has been increased from 156bhp to 207bhp allowing the car to reach 60mph in 6.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 149mph.

The order book for the DS3, which will be delivered early next year, has been opened and demand has been high despite the £23,100 price tag.

Citroen will be unveiling its brand new DS4 at the Paris Motor Show in October.
