Fiat has released a new advert to promote its 500L model – with the focus of the piece being the role of fatherhood.
Following on from the carmaker's successful motherhood campaign, this YouTube film is aimed at showing the truth about what it means to be a dad.
The advert sees a man driving his screaming babies around in his 500L as he attempts to get them off to sleep.
While he cruises around the neighbourhood, the father begins to think about how his life has changed since he had kids – and it is hoped that the clip will strike a chord with similar young dads.
Fiat is promoting the ad as a funny and edgy piece that offers an honest look into the mind of a male coming to terms with his new responsibilities.
The protagonist of the clip sings to his children: "You peed inside my bedding, but know I'll get my own back, when I'm dancing at your wedding."
He also jokes that while he loves his kids and would not swap their mother for anyone, he will be abstinent in the future and will place a greater emphasis on contraception.
Elena Bernadelli, marketing director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, explained the manufacturer decided to make a male version to match the female advert after it was inundated with requests to see the dad's side of the story.
Ms Bernadelli stated: "As with the motherhood [advert], we wanted dads everywhere to watch the fatherhood [advert] and nod along to the story we're telling.
"Just like the Fiat 500L, we hope the fatherhood [advert] will bring a bit of fun into people's everyday lives."

The car maintains the aesthetics and personalisation options of the Fiat 500, but also boasts five doors and 400 litres of boot space, while also being significantly larger in size.
Designed as a family car, the 500L also has six airbags, Electronic Stability Control and an anti-lock braking system.
