Fiat Abarth 695 stars at motorsport evening

Fiat unveiled its right hand drive Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari for the first time in the UK at a recent motorsport celebration evening.

Motorists looking for Fiat deals will be interested to hear that the manufacturer has decided to produce just 152 right hand drive versions of the Ferrari tribute for the British market.

The vehicle is proving to be very popular as the Fiat Marylebone dealership has already sold 20 Abarth Tributos, with two ordered during the celebration evening.

Guests, including actor Tom Chambers, comedian Patrick Kielty and Andrew Humberstone, managing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland attended the event, which included an interview session with Abarth racing driver Stefan Hodgetts.

Tony Dittli, managing director of Fiat Marylebone, said: "There was plenty to do and see including some stunning Abarth machinery such as the 695 Tributo."

Powered by a 1368cc turbocharged engine, the 695 Tributo can accelerate from 0-62mph in under seven seconds and has a top speed of 140mph.

Despite the improved power of the Abarth 695 it still offers motorists a cost effective option as it provides a return 43.3mpg on the combined cycle.

Actor Tom Chambers recently took delivery of a brand-new Fiat 500 TwinAir.
