Fiat announces partnership with Connect

Motorists seeking new Fiat deals may be interested in the car company's new partnership with car share company Connect.

The car share company which is owned by Hertz provides customers quick access to cars when the need arises.

Both Hertz and Fiat believe that the Fiat 500 and Alfa MiTo will be the perfect cars for this type of service and have signed a deal to add 170 cars to the fleet currently available through Connect.

Andrew Humberstone, managing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland, is excited by the deal and hopes the high profile deal will improve the image of the Fiat 500.

Bob Stuart, senior vice president of global sales at Hertz, said: "We are extremely excited to have formed this exclusive alliance with Fiat for our car sharing club offer in the UK".

The new style Fiat 500 was launched in 2007, exactly 50 years after the first ever Fiat 500 was made.
