Fiat Professional has picked up two prizes at the 2013 Trade Van Driver (TVD) Awards.
The manufacturer saw its Fiorino model named Best City Van and its Doblo Work Up coming away with the Best Small Pick Up accolade.
A expert panel of judges decided upon the winners, as well as a panel of readers who use light commercial vehicles when carrying out their daily work duties, with the awards being aimed at recognising manufacturers that provide the best value for retail van buyers.
The Fiat Fiorino was praised for its drivability, hi-cube rear end and tight turning circle, with the vehicle being a favourite of both businesses and fleets.
According to the judges, the Fiorino sets a new standard of refinement, durability, and practicality in the ultra-compact light commercial vehicles market thanks to it being cheap to run, easy to park and not costing much to repair, while it is also effective at navigating through heavy traffic.
The Fiat Doblo Work Up was heralded for its open load area at the back and its high level of comfort towards the front of the vehicle.
Designed for easy use in urban areas, the model boasts compact external dimensions and a load box that is 2.30 metres in length and 1.82 metres in width.
Sebastiano Fedrigo, director of Fiat Professional UK, said the company is delighted to have its vans recognised in such a manner.
Mr Fedrigo stated: "Our Fiorino and Doblo ranges have proven to be extremely popular not only with large corporate clients but also with small business users such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters and builders.
"This is the second year in a row that Fiat Professional has secured double success in these awards and provides further endorsement of [its] quality and strength."
The news comes after Fiat Professional recently saw its Doblo Cargo van pick up the Best Light Van at the VansA2Z Van of the Year Awards 2013, when it was described as one of the most impressive vans of its size.
