There is a new Fiat deal available in the UK.
The stylish Italian manufacturer has announced details of its latest addition to the Punto line-up, letting car buyers know the limited-edition Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 has gone on sale in the UK.
Fiat believes the car will be very popular due to its combination of a distinctive look, a high level of standard specification and a very affordable on-the-road price of just £12,000.
The Punto Jet Black 2 will be uniquely available as a three-door model and, as its name suggests, will be finished in Crossover Black metallic paint. The striking appearance is continued by dark tinted rear privacy glass and smoked, 12-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels as standard. 17-inch – on a Punto!
More imposing bodywork has been added with the powerful-looking side skirts and a matching rear spoiler. The changes are not all cosmetic however, and the Jet Black 2 has some clever sports suspension, which should make it hug the corners and give it a comfortable ride.
Front fog lights, new side stripes and a tailgate logo complete the car's bespoke exterior look, making it unlike any other model in the range.
Inside, the new car is discernibly different from a normal Punto. Fiat has upped the ante with an array of additional features including a leather steering wheel and gear knob, automatic climate control and cruise control.
Safety is still a major focus and the driver will benefit from standard safety features including rear parking sensors, adaptive cornering fog lights, five airbags and voice-controlled Blue&Me Bluetooth multimedia connectivity – so distractions are kept to a minimum.
Under the bonnet, the limited edition Punto is fitted with a 77hp 1.4-litre petrol engine that has Start&Stop technology as standard, so it has a nice balance of economy and power.
