Fiat believes that the technologically advanced low consumption 875cc two cylinder engine will revolutionise the way drivers view petrol power's potential.
Motorists looking for Fiat deals offering great fuel economy may want to check out the new Fiat 500 Twinair which offers the cleanest quantity production petrol engine in the world.
The car manufacturer has said that customers will not be disappointed as the engine will combine "rev-happy fun appeal with significantly more power than larger capacity four cylinder units".
The Twinair engine provides an attractive way of downsizing while substantially reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, but maintaining the power of driver enjoyment.
Weighing just 85kg, and produced just 95g/km of CO2, the ground breaking engine has the lowest emissions of any quantity production petrol engine.
The low emissions will mean drivers of the Fiat 500 Twinair will not have to pay a daily congestion charge in London, after it was announced cars with emissions under 100g/km of CO2 would have to pay a one off annual £10 fee.
To celebrate the introduction of the Twinair engine, a new sky blue colour, Volare, has been added to the line up.
