New Ford Fiesta deals could become even more popular among UK motorists after the famous model was chosen for an award.
The Ford Fiesta Sport Van has won Thatcham’s new Green Van award – the first time the prize has ever been handed out.
Mike Briggs, vehicle security manager at Thatcham, said the model "demonstrates that consumers concerned about both security and the environment need not compromise".
He added that the success of new Ford Fiesta deals show the manufacturer’s ongoing commitment to reducing crime and therefore the level of risk to both the motoring public and car insurance providers.
Prices for the new Ford Fiesta deals start at just £12,155, the carmaker said, with features including Ford’s patented Passive Anti-Theft System immobiliser, high-security door locks and a standard perimeter alarm.
This is the latest award for the manufacturer, after it won prizes at the BusinessCar Awards earlier this month for the Ford Galaxy and the Ford S-Max.
