Ford are set to make the new Kuga even more exciting for motorists by drawing on trends from each continent.
The new range of cars will have different designs based on the individual demands of customers from around the world.
Inspiration for the changes to design came from a wide range of sources including climbing shoes, jewellery and make up.
"Great design can turn an object that you need to have, into an object you love," said Chris Bird, design director at Ford of Europe, who is responsible for colour, material and vehicle personalisation.
"That is why we put so much thought and feeling into cars like Kuga, making them appealing and relevant no matter where our customers are."
He explained that size-perception is a clear indicator of differing regional demands, with European and Asian motorists wanting more compact models than their US counterparts.
Similarly, interior colour can have a big impact, as the Asian market prefer lighter colours while in Europe black gloss is synonymous with innovative tech.
