Honda confirms Jazz pricing

Honda has confirmed the specs and prices for the latest version of the popular Jazz.

The supermini will go on sale in September and will cost from £13,495 for a base model. Buyers will be able to chose from four trim levels, although there will only be one engine choice at the time of launch.

At the entry level is the S car with a 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine, offering 56.5 mpg with emissions of 116g/km, and fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox.

For an additional £1,100, owners can opt for a new CVT automatic gearbox that offers 61.4 mpg and emits 106g/km of CO2.

The Jazz base model will also feature air-con, cruise control with speed limiter, auto lights and 'City-Brake Active' emergency auto-braking to avoid low-speed collisions.

Those who opt for the SE costing £14,595 will be able to benefit from front and rear parking sensors, electric heated door mirrors, 15-inch alloys and Honda's Driver Assistance pack, as well as an Android-based Honda Connect seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The top of the range Jazz model – the EX – will have a price tag of £15,715 and will have keyless start, climate control, an audio upgrade, 16-inch alloys and front fogs.
