Ford’s new KA+ is now available to order across Europe, with the first delivery expected before the end of the year.
The KA+, a larger version of the popular KA, is a five-door hatchback and has space for five passengers plus various storage options offering 270 litres of space.
Buyers have a choice of a 70PS or 85PS 1.2-litre Duratec petrol engine – a variation of the 1.25 block used in Ford’s Fiesta line-up.
All KA+ models will have front fog lamps, AM/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity, remote central double locking and a safety system with six airbags fitted as standard.

He added: "KA+ is true to that tradition, packing a huge amount into a compact car that delivers agile driving dynamics and a surprisingly roomy cabin at an affordable price."
Prices in the UK for the new model will start at £8.995.
