Kia has revamped its Picanto and Rio line-ups to provide a more straightforward choice for buyers.
The Picanto range will now consist of three trim levels – 1 Air, SE and Sport. Despite dropping the 1 trim, starting prices for the Picanto will remain at £8,545 with air conditioning, bluetooth and leather steering wheel now available as standard on the entry-level option.
Kia’s SE trim is available from £10,395 and benefits from stop-start engine controls and automatic air conditioning.
The top-of-the range Sport trim will cost £11,995 and the model has redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as a twin-tipped exhaust tailpipe.
In terms of engines, buyers can opt for a 65bhp 1.0-litre petrol and
84 bhp 1.25-litre petrol unit that is exclusive to the SE and Sport trims.
Kia’s Rio range has also been simplified with four trim levels, although the starting price remains at £10,945.
