Mazda confirms pricing for new models

Mazda has confirmed the UK pricing for its updated 6 Saloon and Tourer.

Both versions of the 6 will be delivered this summer, with prices starting at £23, 045.

Buyers will be able to choose from a variety of trim levels – SE-L Nav+, SE-L Nax+, Sport Nav+ and GT Sport Nav+, as well as three different engines.

The latest engine added to the model line-up is a 2.5-litre petrol offering 192 bhp and is the first Mazda in the UK to feature this option.

Mazda has updated a number of aspects of the 6, with changes both inside and outside.

The base level SE-L Nav+ is fitted with LED head and taillights, 17-inch alloys wheels, parking sensors, leather steering wheel and eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Those willing to spend out on the higher trim levels can expect larger alloy wheels, leather upholstery and LED daytime running lights.

Peter Allibon, Mazda Motor UK sales director, said: “On sale this summer the new Mazda6 is another example of Mazda’s continued drive to deliver stylish, great to drive, high-quality cars that offer a unique form of Japanese-inspired style and elegance.

“With more technology and equipment than ever before, plus upgrades to engines and refinement, I’m sure the Mazda6 will be more popular than ever with both fleet and retail customers.”
